Taking
the Estimate Out of Estimating
We've developed some invaluable tools for estimating
the cost and material needs of each project we undertake.
And our computerized project schedule gives you a complete,
up-to-date rundown of the status of all your jobs.
See
the Light with Laser and Computer Measuring
Our laser measuring device provides us with accurate
dimensions of any room of almost any size - without the use
of ladders, tape measures or guesswork. We immediately enter
the dimensions into a hand-held computer, which calculates
square footage and supplies a project estimate. We download
the information into a workstation for safe keeping.
We can
also render estimates from architectural drawings quickly
a big plus when the plans need to be seen by others. We input
the plans into our computer, which helps calculate exact dimensions
and estimates.

Ask
a typical drywall contractor when he will start or finish
a job. After some hemming and hawing he'll give you
a date. But the unspoken margin of error is usually
several days. Maybe a week.
You
won't find guesswork at Alpha Drywall. We employ a sophisticated
scheduling system that tells our builders exactly which
day we will load materials, hang, finish and complete
each house. (We'll even fax you the schedule once a
week if you like.) Look
at a sample schedule. You'll wish all your contractors
worked this way.
By
knowing exactly when we will begin and end a drywall
job, you can schedule the rest of your contractors with
peace of mind.

Before
delivering materials, we conduct a pre-load inspection
of the entire site to ensure that interior walls are
ready to be sealed. We check TV cables, phone wires,
window installations, fireplaces, stairs
everything
that must be installed before we start drywalling.
This
safeguard prevents us from beginning and finishing a
job, only to remove it to complete work that should
have been done before we started. It saves you time,
money and headaches.
